What a difference a year makes! Like everyone, there are lots of ups and downs, but 2011 - 2012 (Yes, I'm a teacher so I talk about things in terms of school years) had many more ups than downs.
Over the year I've realized just how strong I am and that I can make it through anything that is thrown in front of me. I've made sure that the things that I do, fulfill me. I'm not doing things anymore to make other people happy, I'm putting me first, which was something that was very hard for to do. Not everyone liked it, but you know what... Too bad for them. I need to take care of me.
I also had the great opportunity to go back on stage in two different shows. Again it was filled with amazing people and great experiences. I wouldn't have traded the time I put into Legally Blonde or Burlesque 2.0 for anything in the world.
My new world tour begins... This year I'll be hitting Tennessee, Mississippi, Lousiana, and both Upstate New York and New York City. Check back for updates on our crazy history adventure with the Teaching American History Crew!
